North Hills TR500A10 Transceiver Cable Interface Module conditions transmit and receive signals in accordance with
the specifications of SAE AS5643/1 and IEEE STD 1394b- 2008. It incorporates low insertion loss transmit and receive transformers to reject common mode signals and provide
isolation between the cable and other electronics at the S400β data rate.

Subject: End of life of G series connectors

Product Part Number:
All G series part numbers are concerned.

Description of Change:
Historically the G series is derived from the MIL-C-
26482 norm. Since the 1950’s customer

expectations gradually increased and are requiring more stringent sealing performance. Furthermore, the G series didn’t meet the RoHS and Reach environmental requirements. Souriau has decided to stop the production of this series and proceed with the G series end of life.

VAD parts concerned will not be replaced and the complete UTO connector will be proposed instead.

Anticipated Impact on Form, Fit, or Function:
G series part numbers will be replaced by UTO part numbers when possible. Please contact technical services for assistance.

Implementation Date:
Immediate, Souriau will accept orders between January and March 2015 and not after. Souriau will deliver the G series part numbers according to Souriau capabilities with a maximum of 100 pieces per part numbers.
